Interaction with Oxford and Cambridge University Graduates

Published by Executive Committee on

It gives us immense pleasure to announce and invite you and your children to attend an exciting educational interaction event on 15th October 2017.

University of Oxford and University of Cambridge are two most prestigious universities in the world. In many university rankings (league tables), these two institutions often top the list.

Many of our children are now coming to the university age and we all want to see them go to some of these top universities. Graduates of Oxford and Cambridge dominate the leading positions in business, politics and civil service in the UK and many of the world’s famous scholars, scientists and leaders are alumni of these universities.

However, getting admissions in these universities is extremely competitive and very few children from Nepali community have succeeded in securing a place.

We are therefore organising an interaction programme with recent graduates from Oxford and Cambridge Universities with the view of inspiring our children and to provide general information about what it is like studying at Oxbridge.

We have invited recent graduates who have very kindly accepted our invitation and agreed to share their Oxbridge journey to Nepali youth and parents.

Speakers:
Francesca Arduini, University of Oxford
Freya Perry, University of Cambridge
Samuel Hughes, University of Cambridge
Thomas Hughes, University of Oxford

Time and Date:

Venue:
St Michael’s Community Centre
Wrotham Road
Welling
DA16 1LS
